Sykes leading the British charge

The 2012 World Superbike Championship has started well for the Brits as they lie second, third and sixth in the top ten. Tom Sykes has started the season with a bang and looks to have huge confidence in his much improved Kawasaki ZX10R and has a real chance of winning the championship. The ever present Max Biaggi leads the championship with five round completed but his lead over second place man Sykes is only five points.

Other brits leading the charge are Jonathan Rea and Leon Haslam, both of whom are serious championship contenders and will be fighting for podiums and race wins throughout the 2012 season, if the first part is anything to go by!

Tough to call... again!

The British Superbike Championship is just in full swing and already it is proving to be difficult to separate the top riders. Just ten points stand between first and fourth in the championship with three rounds already completed.

Reigning champion Tommy Hill has made another good start to the championship and is on top of the pile aboard his Swan Yamaha. Josh Brookes again looks strong and well suited to the well put together GSXR1000 beneath him. Paul Bird will also be pleased with his team's start with his riders third and fourth aboard the very competitive Kawasaki ZX10R.
